Committees

The WOMEN2Women Committee hosted a professional networking program discussing communications across generations in the workforce.
Ambassador Committee
The Ambassador Committee serves as the primary link between our members and the Chamber. Ambassadors welcome new members, helping them to become acclimated to the array of benefits and services offered by the Chamber, as well as introduce them to current members. New and renewing members can expect a personal visit and delivery of a membership packet from one of our Ambassadors who consider it a privilege to serve on the team. The Ambassador Committee is a positive cohesive force whose commitment to the enhancement of business in the Greater Gardner area is obvious.
Awards Selection Committee
The Awards Selection Committee, comprised of past Chairpersons of the Board, and past Citizens of the Year, meets annually in the spring, and is charged with determining the Community Awards recipients to be honored.
Event Planning and Outing Committee
The Event Planning and Outing Committee assists the Chamber staff with coordinating and promoting existing events as well as implementing new value added events to benefit Chamber members and the Greater Gardner business community as a whole. During the spring and summer months, the committee assists the Chamber staff with overall planning of the Chamber’s Annual Summer Outing & Golf Tournament event, including solicitation of sponsors and auction donors, and coordinating volunteers.
Legislative Affairs Committee
The Legislative Affairs Committee promotes the interests of members and businesses within our service area with public sector officials on the local, state, and federal level. The committee is also responsible for the development of educational and informational programs for business and community leaders on important issues that affect businesses, and it builds coalitions when appropriate.
Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee meets annually in the spring to review applications for, and select recipients of awards slated for a graduating high school senior, a current college student, and a non-traditional student pursuing a degree or professional development studies.
W.O.M.E.N.2Women Planning Committee
The W.O.M.E.N.2Women Planning Committee comes together to plan the quarterly programming for the chamber’s W.O.M.E.N.2Women Professional Networking lunch series. The focus of this program is to provide mentoring, education and networking opportunities for professional women in our business community.
