The Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Carol Jacobson to the position of President & CEO effective July 9, 2018.
She will replace Jim Bellina, who left the Chamber in early June due to a family illness.
Ms. Jacobson comes to the Chamber with comprehensive experience in marketing, public relations, management, fundraising, and event planning. Her varied background includes working for large corporations, non-profits, and educational institutions.
Ms. Jacobson is actively involved in the community and has volunteered her time on several Boards and committees including the United Way of North Central Massachusetts, past Chair of the Chamber’s WOMEN2Women Committee, and past Membership Chair for the Gardner Rotary Club. She currently serves on the LUK, Inc. Board of Directors and Alternatives North County Advisory Council.
“Carol’s familiarity with the greater Gardner community and her volunteer experience with the Chamber will prove to be assets in remaining focused on the mission of the organization. The Board of Directors and staff look forward to working with Carol as we continue to be the voice of business for our members and enhance the quality of life in the seven communities the Chamber serves.” said Caroline Chellis, Chair of the Board of Directors.

Ms. Jacobson is a Central Massachusetts native and currently resides in Templeton.

Chamber Board of Directors raises funds for ALS TDI in Honor of Matt Bellina and the Bellina Family.
Chamber President & CEO Jim Bellina left the organization on June 1st to move to Pennsylvania with his wife Deb, to be closer to their son, Matt who has ALS.
At the May 9th Annual Meeting, the Board of Directors presented a check to Jim and Deb Bellina in the amount of $6,850, a donation to ALS Therapy Development Institute in honor of their son Matt.
