The Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee recently awarded $2,000 in scholarship funds to deserving local students.

Olivia Laliberte, of Gardner, has completed her first year at Pace University in New York. Olivia has a double major in Political Science and Sociology/Anthropology, and a minor in Law. She aspires to work as a local government official and has been awarded a paid summer scholarship/internship with the Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce.

Rebecca Lashua, a 2019 Gardner High School graduate, is entering her first year at Worcester State University with plans to become a Physician’s Assistant. Becca will study Biology and Spanish. She was awarded a $500 scholarship.

Carley Walsh of Gardner is a past Chamber scholarship recipient. She is entering her senior year at Fitchburg State University as a nursing student. Her goal is to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Carley has been awarded a $500 scholarship.
