Wachusett Business Incubator is the result of several years of meetings and planning by a dedicated group of North Central Massachusetts business people. In 2014, the Greater Gardner Business Incubator Network Inc. became incorporated under Massachusetts law as a 501(c)(3) organization, doing business as Wachusett Business Incubator. Since that time, space at the former Simplex Time Recorder building in Gardner has been renovated to accommodate several start-up businesses.

Our goal is to foster economic growth in the North Central Massachusetts area by providing targeted assistance in a cooperative environment to innovative entrepreneurs. We will guide them to cultivate their business skills, and provide the assistance necessary to take their startup companies along the path to commercial maturity.

You’ll find the incubator just past and behind the former Simplex headquarters and manufacturing buildings in what was at one time the cafeteria. The entrance to the incubator is via Sanborn St. on the side of the building facing CubeSmart.
